What can I do on Home Talkies?
You can make your HOME your personal TALKIES! On Home Talkies, you can watch High Quality movies Legally. The movies can be watched on various devices, many of our users connect their laptops to their Home Theatre systems and enjoy having a theatrical experience.
At the moment we are only showcasing Kannada Feature Films. However, we support independent cinema and we will be promoting Direct Online Release of short films and documentaries.
Where do I watch the movies?
On the Watch movies link, we have a list of movies that are available for viewing. Simply choose the movie you’d like to watch, make the payment and the movie will start streaming immediately. You can watch the movie on your Ipad/Iphone/Itouch/Mac/Pc.

Can I watch the movies offline?
NO! Sorry about that. You can only stream the movie, you can’t download it. But don’t worry, if you have an internet connection with good speed, the movie will stream seamlessly. We haven’t had any complaints about that.
The movie I’d like to watch is not available, what to do?
We screen movies that are in demand. If the movie you want to watch is not available, visit Demand Movies, search for the movie and click on the LIKE button. Once the movie is in high demand, we make it go live on our site, and you will be informed. You could also make use of the Quick Movie Search button that you see on the side.
How do I benefit from watching a movie on Home Talkies?
First and the foremost benefit is that you will be watching the movie in its true quality, the films we host are submitted by the filmmakers themselves.

How do I make money through Home Talkies?
For supporting legal ways of watching movies, we share our earnings with you. You can share a movie link on your social networking accounts, email friends or even embed our movie player on your blog. An unique affiliate code is attached with your sharing Ids (only when you submit your email ID in the player) and that code will keep a track of people who watch the movie through your share. So whenever someone rents the movie through your link, 10% of the selling price is sent to your account. You can go about sharing and promoting as many movies you want and earn the 10%. We are not kidding, this works. Try it out.
Frankly, why don’t I just watch pirated copies?
You would be stealing. Thousands of people work on making a movie, like you, they too need to make a living. When you watch pirated copies, all those people and their families are affected. When a producer doesn’t earn from his investments, he stops producing movies and when the number of productions fall, imagine how many people are rendered jobless! With no jobs in film making, people will move away. Quality dies and eventually you will not be left with any decent movie to watch.
And, as film makers we spend months to get everything right. There are loads of technical processes a film goes through to achieve high visual and audio quality. When you watch a pirated copy, all of that is lost. You are watching bad prints with cropped visuals and bad sounding audio. How will a film entertain you if you are not giving it a chance to reach you in its truest form?
Share legal copies and make money for yourself. When you promote pirated copies, no one is benefiting, neither the audience nor the makers. So be legal and be benefited.

There are certain copy right issues. We are trying to solve those and we hope to find solutions soon.
Till we find a solution, you can participate in promoting your favorite films and earn from it. Share the movie link with your friends abroad and pester them to watch it. And you will be rewarded with 10% of those sales.

Ah really! Sorry about that. Before we put up any content on Home Talkies we get the necessary permissions from the movie producer who according to the law is the owner of the content. Don’t worry, get in touch with us and we will resolve the issues immediately.
