Synopsis

Abhijit, a software engineer in Bangalore stumbles upon a manuscript of a novel titled ‘SHIKARI’. As he starts reading it, the novel arrests his interest instantaneously. Abhijit starts identifying him self with the protagonist of the novel, Aruna. Story of the novel ‘Shikari’ happens in a village in pre-independence India. Rudranath Shinde is the only British representative in the village. He lives in the village with his only daughter, Renuka. Aruna who is a rebellion, comes to Manjinadka to seek sanctuary from the British after an adventure in Konkan Area. He falls in love with Renuka. Abhijit is so intrigued about the story of an unheard hero and his love. He goes to Manjinadka in search of clues about this unknown piece of history! In Manjinadka, Abhijit finds his goal in life as he searches for the bits and pieces of lost history. He also meets his lady love, Nandita. Their lives intertwine with the characters from the novel. The hunt for answers turns internal now. A touching love story between two strongly opposite personalities in two different time and spaces starts to reveal.
